Dublin City Public Libraries’ Career Direction and Development Programme, now in its third year, is a key Dublin City Council employment support initiative, designed as a response to the vastly changed Irish employment and careers landscape. Through a range of events, including lectures, workshops, information stands, helpdesks, displays and user education programmes, it aims to provide concentrated support to the city’s residents, workers and visitors in sourcing employment opportunities, developing job-hunting skills, and adapting to career changes in the current dynamic environment.
