Mike Shaw an MSc student sent me the following message, having missed Friday's meet-up in the MSc study room:
"I can meet anyone in the lab at 6 before class if they need help with the VM.
I
have mine up and running and have actually written some scripts which
bring up the various Hadoop services and shut them down, making life a
lot easier!"
