Applications are invited for a PhD Studentships within the School of Computing and Digital Media, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity involving a PhD research programme in the context of a collaborative project with British Telecom (BT) related to developing an intelligent real-time support framework for BT’s engineering workforce.
The PhD studentship will cover living costs and UK/EU tuition fees for 3 years on a full-time basis. Non-EU students may also apply but on a fees-only basis.
Applicants should hold a minimum 2:1 degree or a master’s degree in computer science or other relevant disciplines (e.g., applied maths), or equivalent industry experiences. It is essential that the applicant has good skills in computer programming and good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, machine learning, case-based reasoning.
