An opportunity is available for a computer scientist with a strong background in machine learning and ideally image processing to commence their post-graduate career with a 12 month PgDip project. This will involve building novel and innovative predictive models of prostate cancer patient outcomes from holistic data sources including extracting features relevant to cancer tumours from tissue images. Progression to an MPhil and PhD is subject to further funding and good performance. Any students interested please contact Dr. Patrick Jackman or Dr. Susan McKeever (susan.mckeever@dit.ie)
