Knowledge Acquisition and Modelling - JESS

I'ave added two additional files to the guide for JESS which should be helpful. This includes how to load facts from a file, run a script from within a script, execute a query plus the full language guide to Jess 7.0 for those who are more advanced programmers.

Knowledge Acquisition and Modelling Wednesday March 28th

The class on Wednesday March 28th will be in KA-3-022 initially.

During the first hour we will cover uncertainty and one approach.
Other approaches will be covered after Easter.

The remainder of the class will be given to negotiating contracts.

Contract Negotiation can be completed as follows:

By sending a provisional contract by email and requesting a meeting
In class on March 28th for preliminary contracts
In class on April 18th for final contract

All final contracts must be submitted by email.



Preliminary contract negotiation to be completed by Thursday March 29th @ 10.00 (To include initial scoping and decomposition plus marking ranges per section)
Final contract negotiation to be completed by Thursday April 19th @ 10.00 (To include final agreed mark distribution)
Submission of assignment Wednesday May 2nd @ 10.00 with presentations that evening in class

Classes on March 21st and March 28th will be used for guidance on setup and usage
of these tools for the assignment.

These classes will be in KA-1-015 (lab on 1st floor Annexe building)

All tools will be covered in two practical classes. Screencasts will be created over the next 2 weeks to support this aspect.
